Hi, I’m a born-and-raised Fairbanks, Alaska girl who once believed life came to a screeching halt at 30. I’m now 42, fully alive, mildly confused, occasionally caffeinated, and learning how to live all over again. At 41, I jumped into a brand new career (because why not?), and at 42, I decided it was time for a wellness journey (which sometimes involves hiking and sometimes involves negotiating with myself to put pants on). I’m a mom of boys—translation: my house is loud, my fridge is always empty, and I know way more about dinosaurs, dirt, and weird smells than I ever planned.I love the outdoors, animals, photography, and a dangerously committed relationship with coffee. Life is messy, beautiful, and often hilarious—and I’m here to share the ups, downs, and all the “what on earth just happened?” moments with you. Buckle up… because apparently, life doesn’t stop at 30. Who knew?
